We offer a limited warranty of on the following items.
Main frame Six years
Motor shell, Hub motor, Controller and Charger Two years
Electronic handle bar controls and electrical connections Two years
Paintwork (excluding accidental or deliberate damage) Two years
Battery leakage or battery capacity loss of more than 30% Two years
Lights and lighting system One year
All other parts other than consumables not shown above One year


Terms and conditions
1. If the product has a quality fault within 15 days of delivery the part will be repaired or replaced or in exceptional circumstances we may replace the whole vehicle.
2. The period of assurance shall commence from the day delivery was made to the retail customer, or from the day the retail customer collected the bike from the retailer.
3. To validate this Warranty the retail customer must register his / her bike by clicking here within 14 days of purchase.


Exceptions to Limited Warranties
1. Damage resulting from misuse, not maintaining the vehicle or not following the guidelines within our user guide
2. Accidental or deliberate damage.
3. Damage due to private repair or alteration by user or unauthorised service centre.
4. Failure to produce invoice or proof of purchase.
5. Spare parts and components worn in normal use.
6. Failure to register your bike by clicking here within 14 days of purchase.
7. Failure to have your bike safety checked and the spokes tightened within 300 miles or three months of purchase.

transferable warranty

Wisper is unique amongst electric bike manufacturers in allowing the original warranty to be passed from one customer to another for the full warranty period.

To transfer a warranty the used Wisper bike must be bought through an approved Wisper dealer, where the bike will be checked and if necessary made road worthy. Battery checks will be carried out to ensure your used Wisper has been properly maintained and the Warranty is still in force.

Buying your used Wisper through our network of professional dealers, will ensure you are buying an original Wisper bike and the bike is good and road worthy.

To continue the original warranty you must re-register your Wisper within seven days of purchase through the warranty registration form available on this site under Support, Warranty Registration filling in all details. It is important you enter the date the bike was originally purchased and the name of the original supplier.

Wisper bikes bought second hand from anyone other than an approved Wisper dealer will not be legible for a warranty transfer.

battery care

Your Wisper bike is equipped with a powerful, high quality lithium ion (polymer) battery. Lithium ion (polymer) is recognised as being the very best type of battery for electric bicycle use.

All lithium ion batteries must be well cared for to optimise useful life and range. It is the responsibility of the bike owner/operator to ensure the battery is looked after properly. A well maintained battery may give more than five years everyday service.

If a battery is not cared for as per our instructions it will not reach it’s optimum performance and may not be covered by our warranty.

battery care instructions

  • Never leave a battery completely depleted or drained for more than 24 hours.
  • Always recharge the battery when possible even after a short journey.
  • During long periods of storage and non-use keep the battery about 2/3 full and top up with a two-hour charge every eight weeks.
  • Only use the charger supplied with the bike or a replacement from Wisper.
  • Keep the battery in a dry room.
  • · For optimum power and range keep battery in a warm room above 15 degrees c.

All batteries claimed under warranty will be tested to ensure they have been maintained as per our instructions.
